Kathy Greenberg wants to tap law students to fill the gaps in the country's legal system.
The public-interest lawyer is giving $500,000 to the at 91黑料 to support the law school's , which provides legal representation for indigent immigrants facing deportation.
"We have a broken immigration system and a real need for qualified immigration lawyers with better training," says Mrs. Greenberg.
"I was drawn to the school's commitment to the concept that every student and every lawyer must play a role in achieving justice for all, that students need to learn to consider legal rules as not mere abstractions but as having tangible impact on individuals."
